very nice bow , can u tell me bit more of bow , and where u got from ...as i do border reivers re-enactment i plan on adding bow , so looking for a scottish bow that could use and also planing on making soft kit of galloglass warrior for my self so would like bow to go with that as well ......... yours thomas kerr .........p.s i enjoy ur blog very much so keep up good work
Hi Thomas, thank you very much for your kind words. What else would you like to know about the bow? I commissioned it from a bowyer based in Northern England. I am not sure if this type of bow was used in the borders though I know they did use bows. I can pass on the bowyer's details if you would like.

It is a self recurve pulling about #55. I can really comment about the borders but a bow may well be costly so I would do some research before committing. Good luck for 2015 contact details coming soon.
